I can truthfully testify that it was not I who wrote the prayers in the series “The Prayers for the Precious”.  I may have been the instrument that assembled the scripture but every step of the way was orchestrated by the Holy Spirit.  The “Prayers for the Precious” is a collection of fifty-two prayers (one for each week of the year) that is almost in its entirety the Word of God given in days past to His profits and scribes and canonized into what we call the Bible.  The process was a compilation of the Word of God taken from various scriptures, from various interpretations and translations of the Holy Bible.  I still marvel at the method of compilation.  I was given a word to research through the pressing of the Holy Spirit.  I did a Bible search of the word.  As example, the word may have been pure.  So I did a word search of pure in various forms ie:  pure, purity etc.   I would end up with many pages, sometimes twenty to forty pages of scriptures with the word included in the scripture.  Then I would take a highlighter and as I read each verse the Holy Spirit would prompt me to highlight the scripture or just a phrase in the scripture.  Once I complied and all the scriptures were highlighted I would begin to compile the phrases through the direction of the Holy Spirit.  For instance, I might be prompted to skip over the first five phrases and type the sixth phrase.  Then I would be directed to page 34 and type a phrase from the middle of the page and then back to page 16 and type the last phrase on the page.  What was amazing is that when I finished the prayer it all made sense.  So I cannot take any credit for the prayers.  I am just the instrument that was used to compile the Words of God into a prayer directed by the Holy Spirit.  I believe that the “Prayers for the Precious” series is the Holy Spirit helping in our weakness and helping us compile power packed prayers for every occasion.

Romans 8:26 (NKJV)
26  Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

The Word of God is powerful.  Jesus used it against the temptations of Satan.  The first step necessary when praying the Word of God is to make the decision to believe that the Bible is the Word of God.  Believe that God Almighty watches over His Word to see that it is performed and it does not return to Him void but accomplishes what He intends as the scripture declares.  Once you have that settled in your mind and heart then you can pray the Word in confidence and with tremendous faith in God.  If He said it, He will do it.  The prayers are available in text form and also in audio form.  I am in the practice of having the prayers playing continuously.  It changes the very atmosphere.  People will walk in and immediately speak of how peaceful it feels in the room.  Please download them and play them in your own home and experience the difference.

By the prompting of the Holy Spirit I purchased inexpensive MP3 players and had the prayers playing in every closet of my Son’s house on a very low volume that would not disturb everyday life.  I placed the CD players in the closets in January.  He was shot in February.  It was a miracle that he survived.  He told my husband that it was a heart shot but for some reason the bullet turned direction at the last second and exited out his shoulder.  He told me that he could put his finger in the hole and feel his heart pumping.  In his words “I do not know how these prayers work I can just say that they work because I am still alive.”

I have read the prayers over people who were in the hospital with a death sentence pronounced over them and our faithful God has healed them when modern medicine could not.  One time I even had a Catholic priest interview me because of a miracle that happened at a Catholic hospital.

I pray that the prayers will bless you and your loved ones.  God is faithful, He is good, and He loves you. .
